POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Installation Foreman, works on installation activities, with Journeyman and Temporary Labor in the installation of material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with installed systems.
• Provide customer support and training on equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate records of installation and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments as
needed.
• Work with other departments as time is allowed.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems.
• Technical knowledge relevant to conveyors.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant certifications or training may be required.
Work Environment:
• Often requires travel to clients’ sites.
• May require working in various conditions, including outdoors or in confined spaces. • Typically involves physical labor, including lifting and carrying equipment.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel as required to support Company needs, approximately 30%, typically in the state of Michigan or surrounding states.
