Territory Manager – Detroit Area & Grand Rapids Area

A good Territory Manager develops relationships in a geographic area and provides our customers with good, solid material handling knowledge. This person must have five years of materials handling knowledge and a proven track record in selling systems. He/she should be capable of penetrating new accounts and developing engineered solutions. The use of AutoCAD is a plus. Must be able to succeed in a base plus commission incentive plan, be a team player, and a good communicator. We offer an excellent benefits package, a 401K Plan, and an auto/travel allowance.

Job Description
Territory Manager works with our customers to provide equipment solutions. The Applicant must have five years of materials handling knowledge and a proven track record in selling systems. He/She will be responsible for making sure our customers get prompt response to quote requests. The process involves understanding the customer’s goals and objectives and developing solutions to meet these goals.
Conveyability’s goal is to help our customers compete in their markets by providing the best material handling solutions and technology.
 
General Job Duties
•Provide detailed quotes to our customers in a timely manner (2-3 days typically).
•Develop pricing tools for standard products.
•Work with other engineers to develop configurable designs for standard products.
•Ability to develop concepts for customers needs.
•Meet and exceed our customer’s expectations through good communications.
•Be a great team player and contributor within the office; be tolerant of others.
•Maintain office area clean and organized.
•Work with management to prioritize projects, ability to prioritize individual tasks on your own.
•Complete all administrative tasks/paperwork in timely manner.
•Maintain a consistently positive, enthusiastic attitude!
 
Requirements
•Customer sales background, five years of materials handling knowledge and a proven track
record in selling systems.
•Experience in developing comprehensive quotes.
•Strong mechanical design aptitude.
•Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
