Fabrication Technician
The Fabrication Technician is responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components and assemblies. Core duties include operating machinery such as welders, cutters, and presses; measuring and cutting materials to precise dimensions; and assembling parts using welding, soldering, or mechanical fastening techniques. The role also involves inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met, assisting in the setup of conveyance systems, and troubleshooting equipment during system runoff.
Controls Technician
The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining control systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctions. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, collaborating with engineers on system design and implementation, and documenting all system changes and maintenance activities.
Installation Technician
This position supports the Installation Foreman by working alongside Journeymen and temporary labor crews to install material handling equipment. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting systems, as well as providing customer support and training. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of installations and repairs, collaborating with team members and other departments, and performing additional tasks as needed.
Candidates should have proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, technical knowledge of conveyors, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills for customer interaction. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and possess relevant certifications or training is also important.
