Custom Conveyor FAQs

Drawings, cost, machine interfaces and how small a project can be.

Do I need drawings or a finished design to start?

No. A photo of the area, rough dimensions and what the product is doing today is enough for a first conversation. Drawings help later, not first.

Is a custom system always more expensive?

Not necessarily. Most projects are mostly standard equipment with a few engineered pieces. Going full-custom when you don’t need to is what gets expensive.

Can you connect to machines you didn’t supply?

Yes. Machine-to-conveyor interfaces across manufacturers are a normal part of the work, including equipment that’s been modified since it was installed.

Can you work around equipment that isn’t moving?

That’s usually the assignment. Columns, existing machines, mezzanines and utilities get treated as fixed constraints and designed around.

Do you handle the controls too?

Yes. Controls, sensors and sequencing can be part of the same scope so the conveyor and the equipment around it actually talk to each other.

What if we only need one section fixed?

That’s a real project. One transfer, one interface, one problem area is a perfectly good place to start.
